永遠の灰色 (Eternal Gray) is an intelligent, self-sufficient mechanical creature that’s struggling just trying to comprehend its endless existence.
The work was selected to be exhibited at GIFFEST 2023, presented at the National Design Centre as part of the Singapore Night Festival in Singapore, under the festival’s curatorial theme, IMPERFECT. Reflecting on the concept behind the exhibition, curator Steve Lawler stated, “Achieving the perfect lifestyle is a myth, and yet we all still strive for it, often with disappointing consequences.”
Within this framework, Eternal Gray resonated with the festival’s exploration of vulnerability and imperfection, positioning the mechanical being not as flawless technology, but as a consciousness marked by existential uncertainty.
The piece was also selected through an open call by Infinite Objects and released as a limited-edition physical video artwork within their collectible format, extending its digital presence into a tangible object.

永遠の灰色 (Eternal Gray) es una criatura mecánica inteligente y autosuficiente que lucha por comprender su existencia interminable.
La obra fue seleccionada para ser exhibida en GIFFEST 2023, presentado en el National Design Centre como parte del Singapore Night Festival en Singapur, bajo la temática curatorial del festival, IMPERFECT.
